This experience involved documenting a multi-day wellness and endurance retreat led by Jacqui Bell, capturing the intersection of movement, connection and self-discovery through documentary-style photography. The role extended beyond traditional event coverage, requiring active participation in the retreat itself — running alongside guests to capture authentic moments in real time. Emerging from an ongoing creative partnership across digital and brand projects, the experience blended storytelling, adaptability and immersive visual content creation.

This past weekend I set off on my second photography gig. Now maybe it’s not my bread and butter but, gosh? did I have an absolute ball. The brief is very niche, not just “can you take pictures?” its more like; Can you run 20km with your camera and still get the shot? Very much so eludes to the saying ‘A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.’ I will let you be the judge if I nailed it or not. The journey to this role began when Jacqui and I connected last year. What started with rebuilding her keynote speaking website evolved into redesigning the Run Escapes site and working on numerous development projects over the past six months.

Through it all, our collaboration grew naturally, leading to the perfect opportunity for me to capture this retreat. Despite all the prep, organisation and phyical activity, the work never felt like work. When you’re passionate about what you do, it energizes you. ✨ A weekend full of walking, running, yoga, meditation, journaling, yummy food, belly laughs, ocean dips and self love. I’m so grateful for this full-circle moment and for the chance to contribute to something that has been so impactful for me in my journey. Thankyou to all the lovely guests, and especially to the dream team. My heart is full
